In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov shares with you the top 3 chess opening traps that are super-powerful for blitz and bullet games. It works great especially against beginner level players, but even some advanced/expert level players tend to fall for some of these traps. 

🔹 Trap-1: The first trap is for the White side in the Ruy Lopez opening (also called the Spanish game), which can be used to trick the trickster. Black sets a trap in this opening against White and GM Igor Smirnov shows you how to refute that and trick Black themselves with this interesting trap. 

🔹 Trap-2: The second trap is a really cool one for Black in the Englund Gambit, which happens after the first moves 1.d4 e5. You will learn how to exploit White’s dark square weakness on the queenside and win the game.

🔹 Trap-3: The third trap is for the White side in the Scandinavian Defense, which happens after the first moves 1.e4 d5 2.exd5 Qxd5. It is surprising to see that more than 11K players make this mistake as Black and fall for this trap.
