  1. Congratulations, only 100,000 x more and you'll be up there with Elon Musk.

  2. Hikaru u r so talented and humble to share ur knowledge in the stream. Thank you man!

  3. well the thought had flitted through my head now and then if you guys can get by on chess…but it seemed rude to brazenly as you lol

  4. nice to see you laugh about this article and taking time to explain to your followers!

  5. One might wonder if Nakamura could have become millionaire playing the Alapin Opening.

  6. Wiki is not a reliable source. Anyone can write in it.

  7. Hikaru's initial goal was to earn $737,000 and leave.

  8. "multipple source", right there! you know How BS is the article

  9. The most strange thing of that article is that it was not wrote by a random El Pais's Journalist, it was by Leontxo Garcia that have been the most important spanish speaking world journalist of chess since Kasparov was young, so i cant understand why did he did something like that since he have a lot of knowledge of the chess world.

  10. The level of doth protesting copium is absurd. Hikaru is a competitive chess player who is a multi-millionaire. Full-stop. How many chess players on the FIDE top 100 are multi-millionaires? Hikaru acting like the notion that he's the wealthiest chess player in beyond absurd when the reality is what? He's maybe in the top 2% instead? 🤣 I mean I get it, it's not great for 500 bit donations to keep it real about your net worth, but come on now…

  11. This article was secretly written by Yasser

  12. I love your expression about the misperception with the World Champion at the end. That‘s strong 💪

  13. I hope you have even more money than what they say. If so, you deserve it!
What's the point of these conflict-creating articles? Produce more social rage? Are those socialist media trying to blame you and other top players for earning good money? You and all of the top players should be proud of being wealthy, you have worked for it!

  14. Nunca he oido en mi vida risa tan contagiosa gracias Hikaru

  15. I googled his net worth and it says 50 millon 😂

  16. You are so humble and poor to be a 50 millionaire.😛

  17. welcome in 2022 where facts and truth are very optionnal to make papers!

  18. So is he worth 50 million or not what’s his net worth

  19. I thought wealthiest chess was that Indian billionaire who cheated against Vishy.

  20. As much as some people might not like hikaru, to reach his level of competition you need to dedicate a ridiculous amount of effort. For anyone to portray his career as simply streaming 6 hours a day without working on serious chess is both insane and disrespectful.

  21. Bang hiraku siapa nama orang yang paling ngeri di dunia…?… jawabannya adalah tsunami

  22. Bang hiraku siapa nama orang yang paling kuat tenaganya?… jawabannya adalah Mitsubishi, Pajero dan Toyota…bang ini hanya seloro nggak' Aci marah okey.salam maju terus catur dunia

  23. Leontxo García is the most famous chess journalist in Spain, which is kind of shameful. To be completely fair though, I think he is more highly regarded by people who are not really chess fans than for those who are really into chess in Spain. I still remember when he was going back and forth with Paco Vallejo and Iván Salgado on social media. Apparently, Leontxo had once again made up information about the players and they were quick to respond. The title of Paco Vallejo's article was: "Leontxo me trontxo" which in Spanish slang means "Leontxo I'm laughing so hard".

  24. Did you read the article about Leandro's callcenter in Rajastan?

  25. Come on we all know hikaru became billionaire by capturing all world’s juicers. Now demand juicer is so high it makes him richest juicer owner.

  26. Reminds me of what Michael Crichton said. “Briefly stated, the Gell-Mann Amnesia effect is as follows. You open the newspaper to an article on some subject you know well. In Murray's case, physics. In mine, show business. You read the article and see the journalist has absolutely no understanding of either the facts or the issues. Often, the article is so wrong it actually presents the story backward—reversing cause and effect. I call these the "wet streets cause rain" stories. Paper's full of them.

In any case, you read with exasperation or amusement the multiple errors in a story, and then turn the page to national or international affairs, and read as if the rest of the newspaper was somehow more accurate about Palestine than the baloney you just read. You turn the page, and forget what you know.”

  27. "Time is money. My time is more money than yours."
    – Hikaru Snobamura –

  28. See this reminds me of when Forbes magazine said JK Rowling was worth over a billion dollars her joke was she went to her publisher and said what the hell did you do with all my f**** money

  29. Acquiring wealth and more money has made me realize now that stocks and share's are still the most lucrative businesses in the world today, bonds, real estate, stocks and cryptocurrency are really changing people's lives for better after duly guidance in the risk margin rounded circle the financial market.

  30. I think you’re a little too worried about being judged for doing well financially. enjoy your wealth, you’ve earned it.

  31. This is just another example of how totally untrustworthy news outlets generally are. Very funny… but also kinda depressing tbh
