  1. They are making chess boring now.. allow the boy to play..

  2. Isn't this the same St. Louis Chess Club that Lichess refuses to work with on the grounds that they don't take sexual assault seriously? Yeah… not the biggest loss there.

  3. I wonder how many keyboards and mice Hans destroyed in his life. πŸ˜‚

  4. He's admitted to cheating. Why is he invited to anything? Horrible little man.

  5. Maybe breaking chairs is more punished than breaking nerves πŸ˜‰

  6. can you post the TT where you lose to Hans and he wins the event?

  7. accept the blitz challenge, we want this content.

  8. I would ban him for every event . his behaviour is unacceptable. just a moron

  9. Hans gives his side of the story in a 20 minute video on twitter. At 10 minutes in, he discusses the question of contractursl obligations. Should we really expect the famous/infamous player at the US Chsmpionships after a long game draw to be the one to give the inteview?.And for this to sufficently serious to play a part in a year long ban?

  10. This time he beat Hikaru o get banned? 😜

  11. Lazavik is cheating lol, y'all will find out

  12. St louis is a bunch of racists, thats why they banned hans

  13. Nepo is the like the king of high gravity subtle quips. I don;t think Jospem deserves all the accusation but watching Nepo's body language in the match was kind of amazing.

  14. Hikaru you’re just salty that Moke beat you in TT and mocked your fake twitch voice LMAOOOOOOOO

  15. Maybe the solution is computer controlled live events where the player has to show up

    Carefully monitored.

  16. I don't know, it's kinda like how when somebody dies on a roller coaster, suddenly the coaster gets super popular. There's just something about drama and danger that draws people in. So if anything, all of this drama is ultimately gonna be good for chess.

  17. You don’t have arbiters all over the world

You have a tournament location where player show up

You only need a couple arbiters.

All the players continue to play live with a mouse and computer

  18. The problem with the Jospems and Lazaviks is, that their online rating and FIDE rating are too much apart. That makes them instantly suspicious. When a Top 1000 FIDE rated player online crushed every top 20 player, then you start to ask questions.

  19. In the good old days Rock stars trashed their hotel rooms and trowed the TV sets to the pool, they paid for the damages and everything was ok.
In the new days chess players empties the mini bar, walks half naked in the hotel corridor and we make a massive story about it, I do not call this prgress. Internet an hyper communication is fucking up the fun

  20. Can you make it VR lets say 3D chess where only input of chess move is when you are entirely within this virtual world for all timelength of the event? Sounds crazy tbh

  21. simply amusing how such an unpleasant person like Hans that clearly IS a cheater gets a platform for his arrogant and self absorbed speeches.
He should be completely banned from the chess world, Saint Louis Chess Club setting a good example there, he won't be missed.

  22. hans has a high level of autism. Like… He can't understand human behaviour. Oh come on hikaru… It was just a couple of times he's done this in a hotel room. We should forgive him. Just like he cheated just a couple of times in chess.

  24. Hey Hikaru, can we get an analysis of your recent game with Hans?

  25. Hans is a young man, give him a break. You guys would have banned John McEnroe in tennis before he won any titles.

  26. Are you implying you lost to Lazavik because he cheated?

  27. Society and his dress code are just more subtle that is looks like!

  28. I don't necessarily see the end of big money online tournaments, but maybe the end of big money online tournaments from private quarters.
For decades, certification businesses have implemented proctored locations to pass online tests in controlled environments.
Rules and locations can be set up around the world according to standardized or even custom specifications. Although the locations don't necessarily have to be humanly managed, someone local must be responsible for the condition and security of each location and possibly periodic maintenance like keeping the place clean, stocking amenities, etc.

It's worked before for major businesses and could work for chess, too.
I'd imagine that the requirements to set up proctored labs might even stimulate chess clubs and chess play in those areas.

  29. The St Louis Chess Club speaks for itself πŸ˜‰

  30. whatever, Hans is something though. XD i like the drama around him.

  31. Hans Niemann has made additional posts addressing the accusations, stating that he hasn't caused any major damage, such as breaking tiles or anything of equivalent significance. However, he did confess to damaging items like a remote and a lamp:
Hans tweated "I did break TV remotes, a lamp, an ironing board. Additionally, the glass frame of a painting was shattered which according to the hotel pierced the couch and caused damage."

  32. but i thought he was β€˜one of america’s brightest talents’ ?? πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

  33. Doesn't change the fact that he beat you.

  34. The best thing is he saying is fakenews about him, but immediately saying he broke several stuff at the hotel lol

  35. Hikaru is like "Please, please, please, find a way to get him banned!" πŸ™ He's been kicking my ass! πŸ˜‚ jk

  36. ACCENTS IMITATED πŸ—Ώ MAGNUS VINDICATED πŸ—Ώ BEADS LUBRICATED πŸ—Ώ HANS NIEMANN ACTIVATED πŸ—Ώ

  37. Why does Chess have more f*cking drama than the WWE? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  38. Apparently Hans trashed the hotel room. So he will get fined. End of story. Dragging it out as it was some bombastic story.

    ItΒ΄s getting kinda repetitive.

  39. Where video "HANS DESTROYS ME AT TT?"

  40. Hans and Kramnick are both really hurting chess.

  41. I'm trusting the comments thata say Hans trashed the room, but if he did do that, imo he's got the personality of someone who'd cheat
