  1. Thank you for such a nice analysis, Sagar❤

  2. Anand lets the young ones feel happy every now and then! Also that photo of the Anand and Gukesh shaking hands is funny to me cuz it looks like Gukesh is like:"Please Anand don't send me to the Shadow Realm! I have a family!"

  3. that image, Gukesh didnt even stand up for the handshake, lol

  4. Gukesh didn't even smile and also didn't stand up for the handshake. Doesn't matter how good your brain is but if you don't have a good heart you are not a likable person.

  5. People in the comments are being salty because Gukesh didnt stand up for the handshake. Internet is really a weird place.

  6. I am afraid that Anand will retire when he loses a game. I wish I could be happy for Gukesh, but I just feel sad that Anand lost.

  7. Sad that he lost to gukesh when he was winning the tourney… but happy for gukesh …..

  8. Can anyone tell me where can i get the detailed schedule of who is playing whom in which round,if anyone has got the schedule plz tell from where did you get it

  9. Lack of respect. Perhaps still young, immature and still don’t know how to behave socially. Imagine shaking Mr Mahindra hands while you are sitting down.

  10. "thought experiment" lol, I don't think you know what that means

  11. Vishy sir is a GOAT
Many of us when we doesn't know anything about chess even then we know who the Anand sir is..

  12. Sagar Sir, instead of resign can Anand play Rc7 ?

  13. Bhagvaan God Iswar Allah Khuda Parvardigaar param says:

    One more disappointment

  14. Indians and their obsession over respecting the elders i swear to god its gonna drive us mad one day all the unnecessary toxicity for no reason. In their eyes gukesh shouldn't have just stood up he should've held vishy's feet begging him for forgiveness for defeating him only then it would've come across as respectful from an indian perspective. The 17 year old champ out there winning tournaments taking down the biggest names in the game and y'all salty unemployed losers giving him shit for not standing up yeah suits you well.

  15. So… What you're telling me is…. Samay is The BEST! He almost beat Gukesh… And Gukesh beat Anand… By transitive property.. Samay can beat Anand (PS Don't end me)….. Am I right or am I right…..

  16. The disciple goes one over the master!
I think Anand in his heart of hearts will be happy for Gukesh.❤🎉

  17. Ridiculous to suggest that Gukesh was disrespectful?!
Imagine how tense and trying hard to focus a 17 year old facing his mentor first time on board in a tournament would have been?!
    This surely is nitpicking !!

  18. Anand had fallen in similar congestion in the end game against Judit Polgar.

  19. This is actually not a bad standing for both of them.. last time Vishy was leading at the end of rapid and everybody was chasing him in the blitz, now it's Vishy and Gukesh chasing, will be fun to watch them go all lightning out in the blitz

  20. How does a 17 year old have such a thick beard.
He looks like a 21-22 year old at the very least.

  21. sagar sir is the best. So many beautiful analysis of games, and also teaches us so much. Cant thank him enough

  22. Anand would be both happy and sad with the result. Sad that he is slowly losing his number uno position but happy that a fellow Indian, that too a Chennaiite, is gradually replacing him. To the normal Indian, this is a welcome sign. Indian chess is in great hands – Gukesh, Vidit, Arjun,Pragg,Nihal – way to go!!

  23. A golden moment for Gukesh.
He's gonna progress very fast…one of my favourites, solid and clever ❤❤❤

  24. Im afraid that Vishy Anand will retire, when he loses the game 💔😢

  25. For one moment , I'm feeling proud of Guki and the very next moment I'm feeling heartbroken for Vishy … Idk how to control both of these emotions at the same time

  26. Mannerless kid, stand up to shake hand with the legend! Then sit down after he sits down! Didn’t your parents teach you manners?

  27. Why to stand up when you have to use your hands for shaking lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  28. the time stamps/time situations for each player at the crucial times (if not every move) wud be a nice addition Sagar.

  29. Why not stand up look at the legend and shake his hand.
